The ambitious article by Mohan et al () purports to examine trends and issues related to elective and emergency endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) for unruptured and ruptured infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) by examining the National Inpatient Sample (NIS) database from 2001 through 2009.
